Works carried out on the M25, junctions 12 - 15 and Terminal 5 spur road, comprising landscaping and environmental improvements to enhance the entrance route in Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.

Landscaping project > M25, J12-15 Heathrow Terminal 5. Landscaping included:
  • 597 30-45cm girth semi-mature trees, underplanted with rootballed shrubs.
  • 15,000 feathered trees planted in large plots.
  • 5,000 3-5ltr container grown plants.
  • 3,000 aquatic/marginal plants in newly formed balancing ponds in addition to existing ponds.
  • 41,000 transplants planted in fenced and individual tree protection plots to soften the landscape and encourage future wildlife conservation.
  • 130,000 spring flowering bulbs.
  • 10.1km of rabbit protection fencing.
  • maintenance of 3ha of wildflower seeding and 5ha of amenity grass areas.
  • 5 years aftercare.
