Clearance of roadside vegetation along a 10 mile section of the M1 to allow a major road widening project. Work involved clearance of 24ha of vegetation, which consist mostly of roadside landscape plantations, using a mechanised operation to minimise the duration of works.

Work also included tree clearance in ecologically sensitive areas with the presence of badgers and bats, and some night operational works. The merchantable timber was removed from the site for the local fuel wood trade.
